Seth's family visited the week after Christmas to celebrate.  Just as with my parents, it seems it's never enough time together.  We did a lot of fun things which included heading to the Subway Cafe in downtown Denver that our good friend's own.  Another memorable Christmas...I can't believe we are in 2011 already!

My parents came out the week before Christmas to celebrate.  As you can imagine, it was quite different from years past with having two 9 month olds.  I don't know who had more fun, the Girls or all of us watching them :-)

Thanksgiving

We walked across the street to our friends, Kenda & Kirk's, for Thanksgiving...was nice to have it so close, plus the food was delicious ..quite the spread! Presley is their daughter and was born three days before the Girls.  They had fun playing together :-)

Grandma Kathy's Visit

My Mom came to visit this past weekend and we had so much fun; plus, it's always nice to have help :-)  During the visit, we managed some shopping, organized closets & rooms, visited my good friend, Christi, in Fort Morgan and even enjoyed some downtime. 

Braelyn got her 1st haircut from Grandma Kathy and was such a good Girl.  She was more interested in grabbing the comb than with what was going on.

Was hard to see my Mom go, but we know they'll be back at Christmas ......7 weeks and counting  ;-)

Lisa's beatiful wedding dress ....hidden ;-)

 Our good friends, Lisa and Ely, came this past weekend from North Dakota.  Although their visits always go too fast, we utililize the time.  We were able to enjoy some breweries downtown, relax with the Girls & discuss Lisa & Ely's upcoming April wedding.  Was hard to see them go, but we know we'll be basking in the southern sun with them in Jamaica and are honored & excited to be invited to help celebrate the wonderful occassion!

6 Months Old

I've decided to start a family blog so that everyone can view updated pictures of the Girls when it works for them.  I've followed other family blogs and they are wonderful.  I'm hoping to become better at capturing moments with my camera and keeping this updated.   Plus, this way I can be done with forgetting people when I send out group emails - ha!

Above are pictures of the Girls around 6-months old (taken this past weekend).  We've gotten into a routine which, right now, includes evening stroller rides being the weather is near perfect.  The Girls are turning over and trying their hardest to crawl.  Tayla "scoots" and can cross a room in a matter of minutes. Braelyn is into voice-fluctuations, talks all the time and likes to "screech.".  They are doing well on solids, have been great night sleepers, smile at each other, love to watch Percy, giggle and are so fun; We are loving this "parenting" thing!
